  Do NOT move in here, unless you want to be financially raped by Chris Lawler, the so-called property manager of Straight Creek Apartments!
  
  We needed to move out of our apartment early, so we worked out a "deal" in which we paid an EXTRA 2 month's rent (plus utilities!) to buy our way out of our lease, so that we could still have a chance to get our deposit back, instead of simply breaking the lease and losing the deposit. We did everything we could to leave in good standing, having discussed this and scrubbing the apartment endlessly before leaving.
  
  Not only did we not get any sort of deposit back at all, but it took us a few months and several phone calls later, to finally even get a message back from Chris. He claimed to have sent us a letter with the deposit deductions on it, but we never received anything other than a single voicemail (3 months later) stating he'd already sent it and that there was basically nothing left to be done. I am utterly disgusted that a landlord can do this to someone.
  
  The land out back was always disgusting, with trash and broken glass everywhere. At one point, we had a water leak in the ceiling/wall. Not only did it take someone a couple days to come check out the problem, but it took guys 3 different days to completely fix the problem. And every few months, you'll need to fill out a bug/mold form, because evidently they've had lots of issues with these things!
  
  Again, DO NOT MOVE IN HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE FINANCIALLY TAKEN BY CHRIS LAWLER!
